American LaMancha or simply LaMancha is a formally recognized breed of dairy goat. The goat is believed to have descended from goats brought to California by Spanish missionaries. It was first bred in California by Mrs. Eula Fay Frey about 1927. Later she moved the herd to Glide, Oregon for further development. Official recognition by the American Dairy Goat Association came in 1958. They make great pets and great milk.

They are born with unique small ears
